In the past you had to choose between a procedure that offered great results but required a lengthy recovery, or a procedure with a fast recovery but marginal results. Halo combines deep dermal rejuvenation with epidermal renewal for a synergistic effect you cannot get with any other treatment.
We realize that everyone’s skin is different, and everyone’s needs are different. Halo allows our aesthetic laser nurse to customize your treatment to fit your lifestyle. Need to be back at work tomorrow? A light treatment creates smooth, vibrant skin that is ready for makeup the next day. A more intense treatment gives your skin that youthful glow with just a few days of downtime.
Halo is also safe for use off the face, and can improve pigmentation, fine lines, and skin irregularities on the neck, chest, arms, hands, legs, or abdomen.
You will see improvements in overall tone and texture in addition to significant removal of discoloration, reduction in fine lines, reduced pore size, and skin reflectivity and glow.
Initial results appear between two and five days after treatment, and your skin continues to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first two to three weeks, followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues improving for months. Results last for years, provided you keep your skin protected with UV sunscreen.

You can choose. Discuss your needs with our aesthetic laser nurse — you can have one deeper, more aggressive treatment, or multiple less aggressive treatments that achieve a similar goal over a longer period. Halo can also be an ideal annual skin rejuvenation procedure after a summer of sun exposure.
Any skin on your body can be effectively treated with Halo. Common areas include the neck, chest, décolletage, arms, hands, and legs. Depending on the area and your skin type, the settings are customized to provide safe skin rejuvenation.
Thirty minutes to an hour before treatment your clinician may place a topical anesthetic on your skin to reduce sensation. The area is measured with motion tracking technology to ensure it is treated evenly, and the clinician treats each measured section by uniformly rolling the Halo handpiece over the skin until the system recognizes the treatment is complete.
With a topical anesthetic and integrated cooling technology, most patients experience very little discomfort. Most describe the treatment as a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations. Afterward, most patients continue to feel warm for an additional 15 to 30 minutes, or a bit longer with deeper treatment levels.
You should be able to go about your normal activities right away — and you should always keep your skin protected from the sun, not just after treatment. Your skin will begin to have a bronzed appearance and you may have some swelling around the eye area, but you will be able to put on makeup. For a light treatment you will see very little change on the first day; by day three or four your skin will peel, revealing your new skin beneath.
Every treatment is customized for your skin and your lifestyle. Depending on your needs, your provider may recommend a single treatment or a series. Please call our office for a quote — typically, a single treatment for the face starts at $1,600.
