Instructions get read once at the office and needed again at 10pm on day three. Every form and instruction sheet we give patients is posted here to download or print, before surgery and long after.

Call us at (410) 266-7120 for fever, spreading redness, drainage, worsening pain, bleeding that will not stop, or anything that does not feel right. Do not wait for your next scheduled visit, and do not rely on a document in place of calling.
For severe symptoms — chest pain, difficulty breathing, a severe allergic reaction, or heavy bleeding — seek emergency care first, then let us know.

A few notes on using these.
Your surgeon’s instructions come first
If anything your surgeon or nurse told you differs from a document here, follow what they told you and call us. These sheets are general to the procedure; your plan is specific to you.
Print the one you need
Recovery is easier with the sheet on the counter than on a phone. Print your procedure’s post-op instructions before your surgery date, and give a copy to whoever is helping you at home.
