What it is
Two peptides — BPC-157 and TB-500 — given together as a once-daily injection under the skin, in a 4-week kit of individually dosed syringes you use at home. Patients often hear the pairing called the “Wolverine stack.” We offer it as a supportive adjunct to a real recovery plan — rest, physical therapy, nutrition, wound care — after cosmetic surgery, athletic training, or soft-tissue strain, not as a stand-alone or guaranteed healing therapy.
The science — how it works
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the same building blocks that make up the proteins in your body. Many act as signaling molecules that tell cells what to do.
BPC-157 was originally isolated from human gastric juice. In animal models it has been widely studied for tissue-repair signaling, modulation of inflammation, and recovery in tendon, ligament, and muscle.
TB-500 is related to thymosin beta-4 biology and is studied for cell migration and tissue remodeling — rebuilding and reorganizing tissue after injury. The rationale for combining them is that they act on different parts of the same repair process.
What the evidence shows
The biology is plausible and this is a legitimate area of research. The human evidence is promising but preliminary.
The strongest data come from laboratory and animal studies. A 2025 clinical review noted that the large majority of published BPC-157 research comes from a single research group.
A 2025 primer for orthopedic and sports medicine physicians concluded BPC-157’s benefits for tendon and muscle repair are largely unvalidated in human trials — one small case series, no control group.
A 2025 pilot study found intravenous BPC-157 was well tolerated in two healthy adults — reassuring on safety, not evidence of effectiveness.
Independent controlled human trials remain scarce, and no published evidence shows these peptides shorten surgical recovery.
FDA & sourcing status
Neither peptide is FDA-approved for any use. In April 2026 the FDA removed both from its list of bulk substances presenting significant safety risk for compounding — a step, not approval; its Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee reviews them July 23–24, 2026. We source only from licensed compounding pharmacies that document sterility testing and a certificate of analysis for every batch.
How we dose it
Both options run 4 weeks as a once-daily subcutaneous injection. Which one you receive depends on why you are recovering.
TB-500 + BPC-157, 250 mcg daily subcutaneously for 4 weeks. Begins once you are cleared after surgery — often within 24–72 hours, or at your first post-op visit.
TB-500 + BPC-157, 500 mcg daily, one subcutaneous injection daily as directed for 4 weeks. For soft-tissue recovery from training, strain, or repetitive stress.
Every kit includes prescription-based sourcing, individually dosed syringes, supplies, injection teaching, storage instructions, a dose calendar, and provider-directed follow-up. Dosing is individualized after medical review and changed only by your provider. We reassess at 4 weeks. This is not a pain medication — patients who respond notice gradual change over weeks.
