Dr. Henry D. Sandel IV earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and completed medical school at the University of South Carolina, where he graduated with honors. He went on to complete his residency in head and neck surgery (otolaryngology) at Georgetown University Medical Center, followed by advanced fellowship training in facial plastic surgery—one of the most highly regarded programs in the country.

In 2008, Dr. Sandel relocated to the Annapolis area and founded a practice dedicated to facial plastic surgery and skin health, offering procedures such as facelifts, eyelid and brow lifts, rhinoplasty, and comprehensive skincare services. Known for his thoughtful approach, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care, the practice grew steadily. In 2014, Dr. Sandel partnered with Dr. Claire Duggal to establish the Sandel Duggal Center for Plastic Surgery, bringing together shared expertise and a patient-centered philosophy of care.

Dr. Claire S. Duggal graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and earned her medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta. She completed her surgical training in Emory’s highly selective Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency program, where she trained under nationally and internationally respected leaders in the field.

Dr. Duggal is known for her thoughtful, individualized approach and her focus on achieving natural, balanced results that align with each patient’s goals. Her clinical expertise includes cosmetic breast surgery, abdominoplasty, liposuction, and non-surgical facial rejuvenation with Botox® and dermal fillers. She also has extensive experience addressing male aesthetic concerns, including liposuction and gynecomastia surgery.
